报告简介:  Physical models that simulate the radiative budget (RB) and remote sensing (RS) observations of urban and vegetation landscapes in the three-dimensional (3-D) space are increasingly needed for better understanding of the life-essential element and energy planetary cycles and processes, and to further develop optical RS technology. DART is one of the most comprehensive physically based 3-D models simulating Earth-atmosphere optical radiative transfer (RT) from ultraviolet (UV) to thermal infrared (TIR) wavelengths. It produces the optical 3-D RB and signal of proximal, aerial and satellite imaging spectrometers and laser scanners, for any urban and natural landscape, and for any experimental and instrumental configuration. It is freely available for public research and teaching activities. Here, we present the following four most recent improvements: (1) inversion of Earth Observation (EO) satellite images for creating time series of urban albedo maps at satellite spatial resolution, (2) improvement of thermal infrared RT modeling for meeting requirements of EO satellite TIR missions, (3) modeling of chlorophyll solar-induced fluorescence (SIF) for vegetation represented by geometrically explicit triangles as well as a turbid medium, and (4) simulation of large 3-D landscapes with significantly reduced computation time and technical requirements.
